PHP & Python Developer (m/f)

To join our growing team and help improve and expand our Link Research Tools product.
We have an immediate requirement for a talented web developer who will support the development of our product.

The ability to understand and learn fast, research things on your own and make yourself understood in both written and spoken mediums is crucial to this position. Additionally, you should be comfortable with a fast paced, small team environment – the ability to take ownership of and pride in your work is crucial for success.

We don’t believe that university education is the only way to become a great developer, so if you dropped out you’re still very welcome to apply for this position.

This position is on-site in Wien 22, unfortunately, we are not able to accommodate telecommuting, so please don’t ask.

The following core skills are sought:

• Good German, good English
• Analytical mindset – what we’re doing can get pretty complex sometimes
• Great at self-organization
• Able to work with a diverse team of developers, SEOs and marketing specialists
• Willing and able to learn new skills

The following tech skills are sought:

• Great experience in PHP, Python and MySQL (small web project experience won’t suffice)
• At least some experience in HTML, JavaScript & CSS

The following skills are a plus:

• Onsite and Offsite SEO
• Experience with Linux servers
• Experience with web crawling software
• Experience with web analytics (Google Analytics, Piwik, Statcounter)
• Experience with payment systems (PayPal, ogone, etc.)
• Experience with WordPress (setup, maintenance, theme modification/development, plugin development)
