A persona link is a link which is written by an established member in a discussion forum
For a link persona an own identity (persona) in a relevant forum is often created. It’s necessary to take a lot of effort into the development of this personality in order to create a natural looking and inconspicuous link. The choice of the forum, posting and link text is based on a few parameters which determine the quality of this kind of links.
The difference to a simple spam in a forum is obvious. The persona link has an added value for the forum community, because the posting is not a simple “link drop”, but also adds some information to the ongoing discussion.
